What are missed calls costing you?
Most of your work
Annual revenue

Our HVAC benchmark: 35% of calls missed in peak periods, a $5,500 average job and a 40% close rate. The $5,500 is a blend: a repair averages about $350 (HomeAdvisor, 2026) and a replacement runs $7,000 to $20,000 (CBS News, 2026), and most companies do both. The miss rate, the blend and the close rate are our assumptions, and every one is editable.
Every one of those calls was a lead you already paid for: an HVAC search-ad lead costs about $128 (LocaliQ, 2025).
Missed leads, appointments, and what recovering them is worth, for your numbers.
Lost to missed calls, every month
$35,000
That is about 16 missed leads a month. Winning them back is roughly 4 more appointments booked, worth about $22,000. One month of that work pays for 8.8 months of Farwatch.

Fair questions.
We already use an answering service.
Keep it if it earns its fee. An answering service takes a message. It does not work out whether the caller is an emergency or a shopper, and it does not book anyone. It also never sees the daytime calls that get missed because every line is busy, and that is most of them: even in June, 86 percent of calls to residential HVAC companies come in during business hours (ServiceTitan, 2025). We call every missed call back inside a minute, day or night, find out what they need, and book the ready ones into the calendar you already run.
Why only HVAC?
Because it has the phone problem worst. The calls come all year and spike with the weather: in ServiceTitan's 2025 data, after-hours calls to residential HVAC companies climb from 9.8 percent of the total in October to 14.1 percent in June, and the rest land during the day, when the office is busiest. The jobs are big enough to matter, with a repair averaging about $350 (HomeAdvisor, 2026) and a replacement running $7,000 to $20,000 (CBS News, 2026), so one recovered call can pay for months. And there is more of it every year, with 11 percent more HVAC jobs expected by 2035 (US Bureau of Labor Statistics). We would rather be very good at one trade than average at four.
We already have voicemail.
97 out of 100 people who reach voicemail hang up without leaving a message. They ring the next company on the list instead. We call them back first.
Who is actually calling my customers?
An automated agent, in your company's name, a minute after they hung up. It says the line is recorded, it says it is automated if anyone asks, and it never claims to be a person. The caller wants the problem handled fast, and it is.
What if the return call goes sideways?
We follow a script written for your trade and never wing it. It does not quote prices or warranty terms. Anything it does not cover goes to your team to follow up, instead of being guessed at.
Month to month or annual?
Month to month by default: you see what we recovered each month and decide from there. We do annual contracts as well; commit for a year and the setup fee is waived.
Hear it on your own phone.
Leave your number. We call you back and walk through your numbers, then call you the way we would call one of your customers, so you hear it yourself. If it makes sense, you are live in 48 to 72 hours.
